Featuring a beautifully hand-painted floral design in vibrant orange, blue, green and yellow tones. The whimsical form includes a sculptural handle and coordinating lid, with an aged cream-colored glaze that gives the piece wonderful Old World character. This style utilizes traditional Italian Majolica art pottery techniques, showcasing a crackle-glaze finish, textured "antiqued" detailing, and rustic wildflower and insect motifs.
Marked on the underside “Meiselman Imports – New York – Paris – Italy” with the number K950. A unique decorative piece perfect for collectors of vintage Italian pottery, colorful kitchenware, or cottage-inspired décor.
