Wonderful pair of oversized vintage De Sela Christmas ornaments featuring vibrant hand-painted Mexican folk-art designs. Each round ornament has a brilliant hot pink/red finish decorated with sweeping metallic gold flowers and leaves and is individually signed De Sela.
 
Measuring approximately 5” x 5.5” each, these are much larger than typical tree ornaments and make beautiful statement pieces for a vintage Christmas collection. Lightweight construction with original-style wire hanging loops.
 
De Sela holiday pieces are known for their colorful hand-painted Mexican folk-art aesthetic and wonderfully whimsical mid-century appearance. Similar signed De Sela papier-mâché Christmas pieces are commonly attributed to the 1960s–70s.
